This month could not get any busier. I'm glad that we've decided tomorrow to not go to a play we had tickets for. I'm glad because this will be the last weekend day that we will not have any plans.
We've read "Snowy Days" and "The Christmas Story" for our 20 days of Christmas. We'll open another book tonight, I'm glad my daughter is loving it.

Christmas time!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas. Acually, there isn't enough loves out there for it. And each year as my daughter gets older it is getting even better. Which of course we've spent way more on her than we planned, but hey- thats ok!
I was planning on doing a book a day to read to her but I didn't get enough books in time, so I'm starting that tomorrow night because I'll have enough to get us to Christmas Eve.
So on the 1st, we went and looked at lights in a near by town. They even had Santa and we got Madison to sit with him and get her picture taken. She was more excited about the fact that he had candy so she got her little candy cane and ate on it for a bit. She was very excited about the lights, and pointed out everything she can name.
On the 2nd we put the tree up, the 3rd we put the decorations on the tree and last night she helped me wrap gifts. Her own gifts at that! Too bad this will be the last year for that :)
I'm not sure what we'll do tonight, I still have a few gifts to wrap so we might finish those up tonight.

Superdud?
Am I the only person in America that does not give a crap about the superbowl? What makes it worse is that I live in Indiana. Ya know... where the superbowl is this year. I am SO sick of seeing my facebook full of all of the superbowl crap. I will be so happy when Sunday is over!!!

Catch up again...
I haven't wrote in a while. Sorry guys!! Lots has been going on. My Uncle passed away Jan. 21st from Brain Cancer. He'd been diagnosed with it for 2 months and 13 days. I can't imagine having 2 months to tell your best friend, husband or dad good-bye. He did go peacefully which makes things better than they could have been I guess. He was pretty awesome, I'll miss him a lot.
Then I know this seems silly but in the last month my parents put in new windows, got all new flooring, and insulation redone in the attic. I bet you're thinking...okay... the point is? My point is: They've have lived in the house 23 years this month. How could you mentally say to yourself...hey honey, this carpet we get will be the last carpet we ever see in this house. These windows will be the last windows we look out of in this house. My parents are 65 & 64 years old so odds are that they'll be gone before the next 23 years comes around in their home. I cannot imagine mentally thinking this. I know we all might die tomorrow, but to REALLY know that you won't be around. Wow. Needless to say that has really been bugging me. Bad.
Then on top of all this. I think I have ADHD. I won't go into details but it's freaking me out.
On a brighter note: Booger butt is growing like a weed. She's talking more everyday, learning new things all the time, its amazing. She's trying to "run" now which is so cute because she usually ends up on her butt at some point. haha.

Happy Anniversary!
Yesterday was our 7 year wedding anniversary. We stayed in Indy all night Saturday while my parents kept the kiddo. It was a very nice break. We went out to eat at The Rathskeller in Indy. It was so yummy. We will be going back there again sometime. It was pricy but very good.

All over new glasses?
I am counting down the days for Friday. Not because it is Friday or for the weekend, but because I go to the eye doctor for my two year appt which means new glasses. Unless you wear glasses everyday, every minute you totally do not get this excitment. It's like Christmas, Easter and your birthday in one day. Well, the day your glasses come in is like that anyways. I've been going to the same Dr. since I was in 4th grade, so approx 1994. He's super nice, staff is nice so I love going there. My hubby and I have talked about me getting Lasix eye surgery, but then what would I look forward to every 2 years?!
So Madison is learning or doing a new thing everyday lately it seems like. She's almost running now, or walking really fast I guess you could call it. She now tries to "feed" her baby dolls/stuffed animals. She's using her fork to eat with more everyday it seems like. She's getting really good at following commands. If I ask her to lay back to wash her hair, she does it. If I say "Pants" she puts her legs in the air so I can put her pants on her legs. She is currently working on 6 teeth!! Yikers.
This weekend is our 7 year wedding anniversary and the hubby and I are going to stay in Indy all night Saturday. Madison is going to stay with Gamma and Pappy that night. Be still my heart!!

Couponing 101
I didn't really make any New Year's resolutions. I never keep them. I think they're stupid really. Why do you have to wait until 1-1 to say that you are going to do/not do something that year. Everyone forgets about them by 1-10 anyways. But I have lately taken up an interest in couponing more. I'm reading info on thekrazycouponlady.com and getting into it. I will not be one of those crazy women that buys 200 toothbrushes because I got them for $.25 a piece. (I get a free one every 6 months anyways). I do however, want to stock up on some of the things we use often. The only problem with this is the fact that my hubby does all of the cooking. Yes, all. I hate cooking, he likes it so it's a win-win. Anyways- He usually does the grocery shopping because of course he knows what he needs/wants. So I'll have to get him to let me to take control back over on that stuff. Plus, it saves us money or thats the goal anyways.
We went out to eat New Years Eve, came home and watched movies. Zookeeper and the Change Up. Both were worth the time to watch. Got some good laughs too.
Now to figure out what we're going to do for our anniversary on the 15th. Hmm.. I have no idea. Better work on that one.
