So as usual, I am way behind on my postings. Story of my life. Not like anyone watches my blog anyways-
Kiddo is doing great. She's starting to do really good with her colors, and she already knows all of her shapes, animals and animal sounds. She loves learning new things for sure. We took a 6 week break from gymnastics and just started it again 2 weeks ago. She loves jumpy nights and it's great exercise for her. I'll just be glad when she listens a little more during it. She's starting to wear 3T clothes because her pants are getting too short. She's really grown lately!
As for me & DH he just recently went back to 3rd shift, but has Friday & Saturday nights off so it works out well. I'm finally getting use to having the bed to myself. Thankfully I have 3 kitties that jumped in to "fill the empty spot." I have some new recent work challenges and I'm working on getting through them. As much as I love the medical field, sometimes I wonder what it would be like to work somewhere else. Or in a different field completely. I'm only 28 so I feel like I have plenty of time to really figure out what I want to do. I'm just not sure right now if I want to go back to school. There is no way I could go back full time to school. But I just really don't want to look at that loan debt again. Eh, time will tell I guess.

2013 is here!

To wrap up from Christmas- We had a great Christmas. Madison got so many new and wonderful things. We read our 24 days of Christmas books, even though we had to repeat a couple because we were short some. Great thing is she received 5 Winter/Christmas books as presents so we now have plenty for next year's 24 days. Madison loved Santa Claus this year so much. She still talks about him often. I hope that next year she is just as excited about Santa & Christmas and everything about it. I hope next year to do the Elf on the Shelf craze. I'm just excited to plot out what he/she will do and let Madison find it. It's crazy to think about how different things will be next year, how much bigger she'll be and how much more she'll be talking. Wow. What a blessing to think about.

We got to spend time with lots of family this Christmas as well. Some that we hadn't seen for a few years so that made it even more special.

Now as for the new year- it's not really felt different yet. :) I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing? I never really make resolutions because I never keep them. Usually every week or month I tell myself "I'm going to do ____ better, or _____ more" Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. But that is okay because I'm me.

Crazy Calendar

This month could not get any busier. I'm glad that we've decided tomorrow to not go to a play we had tickets for. I'm glad because this will be the last weekend day that we will not have any plans.
We've read "Snowy Days" and "The Christmas Story" for our 20 days of Christmas. We'll open another book tonight, I'm glad my daughter is loving it.

Christmas time!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas. Acually, there isn't enough loves out there for it. And each year as my daughter gets older it is getting even better. Which of course we've spent way more on her than we planned, but hey- thats ok!
I was planning on doing a book a day to read to her but I didn't get enough books in time, so I'm starting that tomorrow night because I'll have enough to get us to Christmas Eve.
So on the 1st, we went and looked at lights in a near by town. They even had Santa and we got Madison to sit with him and get her picture taken. She was more excited about the fact that he had candy so she got her little candy cane and ate on it for a bit. She was very excited about the lights, and pointed out everything she can name.
On the 2nd we put the tree up, the 3rd we put the decorations on the tree and last night she helped me wrap gifts. Her own gifts at that! Too bad this will be the last year for that :)
I'm not sure what we'll do tonight, I still have a few gifts to wrap so we might finish those up tonight.

Superdud?

Am I the only person in America that does not give a crap about the superbowl? What makes it worse is that I live in Indiana. Ya know... where the superbowl is this year. I am SO sick of seeing my facebook full of all of the superbowl crap. I will be so happy when Sunday is over!!!

Catch up again...

I haven't wrote in a while. Sorry guys!! Lots has been going on. My Uncle passed away Jan. 21st from Brain Cancer. He'd been diagnosed with it for 2 months and 13 days. I can't imagine having 2 months to tell your best friend, husband or dad good-bye. He did go peacefully which makes things better than they could have been I guess. He was pretty awesome, I'll miss him a lot.
Then I know this seems silly but in the last month my parents put in new windows, got all new flooring, and insulation redone in the attic. I bet you're thinking...okay... the point is? My point is: They've have lived in the house 23 years this month. How could you mentally say to yourself...hey honey, this carpet we get will be the last carpet we ever see in this house. These windows will be the last windows we look out of in this house. My parents are 65 & 64 years old so odds are that they'll be gone before the next 23 years comes around in their home. I cannot imagine mentally thinking this. I know we all might die tomorrow, but to REALLY know that you won't be around. Wow. Needless to say that has really been bugging me. Bad.
Then on top of all this. I think I have ADHD. I won't go into details but it's freaking me out.
On a brighter note: Booger butt is growing like a weed. She's talking more everyday, learning new things all the time, its amazing. She's trying to "run" now which is so cute because she usually ends up on her butt at some point. haha.

Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday was our 7 year wedding anniversary. We stayed in Indy all night Saturday while my parents kept the kiddo. It was a very nice break. We went out to eat at The Rathskeller in Indy. It was so yummy. We will be going back there again sometime. It was pricy but very good.
